Beach Resorts of Goa
Whenever one thinks of Goa, they think about beaches. The beaches have become the second name of Goa. Goa has a 125 km long coastline and the beaches cover almost 83 km of the area.
The beaches are concentrated in the two regions, namely north Goan and south Goan coastlines. The first coastline runs from the region of the Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach and goes in upward direction along the coastline to the Chapora Beach and the Fort. Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Chapora, Morjim, Arambol beaches are found in this stretch. The second coastline runs from the south of Vasco da Gama and Bogmalo Beach and goes downward along the coastline to the southern tip of Goa. Bogmalo, Velsao, Majorda, Colva, Benaulim, Betul, Canaguinim, Agonda, Palolem, Rajbhag beaches are located in this stretch.
